Hello horsie people! We jumped for the 1st time in a while! Because the riding director/coordinator was there to teach.
Lesson 9! WOW it's going fast.
We:
-Walk warm-up pulling ourselves into the saddle
-Rising trot
-Forward rising trot
-Sitting trot (again pulling ourselves to the the saddle to develop our seat)
-Trot poles (ehem... some horses cantered cuz of excitement) then square stop
-Trot pole, then cross rail! then square stop
- Cool down on a long rein
I was riding an arabian mare named COCOA! She is a sweetie but bloats, and is antsy until warmed up, she needs a slow, confident rider who knows what they are doing...
This blog is about my life with horses, and different things about horses I am interested in! It will review my weekly lessons as well! I can't wait to share my passion with YOU!
